My name is Sandy Mueller. I was born in Montana but raised in both Montana and Idaho. I graduated from Project CDA High School in 2002. Then took a break from school and had my son Jerrold. I then went on to get a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Video Game Design in 2009 from Westwood College. Shortly after graduating college, I married my husband, Joe, and Jerrold (“Jello”), began Kindergarten at CCA. We were not Christians at the time, but we became converts to Christianity in 2012. We began attending CDA Bible Church but desired to find a church closer to home. Upon finding Steadfast Church (formerly Light and Life), pastored by Steve and Verlene Wilson, we knew it was where God had us placed for the time being. I began volunteering at CCA as Mrs. Wilson’s assistant in her combination 3rd and 4th grade class in 2016, and it was put on my heart that I was to be a teacher during this time. She has been a role-model, mentor, and friend to me ever since. Not just in my teaching role, but also in my parenting and marriage.
After helping Mrs. Wilson, I helped in pre-school and pre-k. Then I helped Mrs. Young in Kindergarten and then 1st grade. Last year, I helped Mrs. Helmuth in 5th/6th grade.
My husband and I have six children – Jerrold, Sarah, Penny, Ben, Andrew, and Simon. We currently attend and are members of His Place Church in Post Falls. I am going through the ABCTE process of obtaining my teaching credential, and I am so excited for the opportunity to teach your children!
