SNOW CLOTHES: Kids need ALL FIVE THINGS every day until further notice. All five things means: winter coat that zips, hood/hat, snow pants, snow boots, gloves; kids who do not bring their snow things will have to sit in the preschool during recess (which is not is much fun as playing outside). Kids can also bring sleds for recess. All sleds need their name in permanent marker in BIG LETTERS.
FOOD POLICY: Please note the following change regarding food policies: If your child will be at school during breakfast or lunch, please DO NOT send the following food/drink items: hot chocolates, Gatorade, any colored drinks, pizza lunchables, cinnamon roll lunchables. We have had bad experiences with these items in the past; as a result, they are no longer allowed in the building.
This week we will NOT be testing due to the short week and the returning from a long break. We will still be learning new things in all our subjects, but will not be testing until next week.
Here is the spelling list we will be starting on tomorrow:
Again, we will NOT be testing on this list this Friday, but still have your kiddo take a look and do some review with you. :) It will be an easier week for the kids so that they can transition back into “school mode.”
