Thank-you Lord Jesus for granting us 15-years of blessing, protection, love, and hope ~ May all praise and glory be raised to You!

With the Lord's blessing, we will be celebrating our 15^th year as CornerStone Christian Academy this Monday, May 8th, 2023.

We are planning lots of food, fun, and a special time of worship with Pastor Tod Hornby and Mrs. Young! Hoping to see many enjoying this time of praising and worshiping our King, Jesus Christ, as we thank Him for blessing these last 15 years!

I.T.B.S. TESTING APRIL 24-27:

Kindergarten through 6^th grade will be conducting ITBS (Iowa Tests of Basic Skills) Mon-Thur April 24-27. 

Tests may include:

• Vocabulary, Phonics, Reading
• Listening, Language
• Math Concepts

KINDERGARTEN TESTS WILL BE MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY – NO KINDERGARTEN THUR & FRI

1^ST-6^TH GRADE TESTS WILL BE MONDAY-THURSDAY

HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP:

• Pack healthy lunches (limit sugar)
• Give them lots of rest/sleep
• Be on time – absences and tardies will lead to tests that cannot be made up
• Be quiet in the hallway and office area
• Watch for ‘TESTING’ signs on the classroom doors

Results will be available within a few weeks.  Thank you for helping our kids succeed during this time!

Time to let go the old & look forward to the new...

After much time and consideration, we've decided to redo our website while jumping to a new platform. We have been using our current site and hosting administrators for several years and have been very happy with their offerings. But under current circumstances and evaluation of cost allocations, we've decided to go a different direction. 

At this time, we plan to roll-out the new website no later than June 30th. The intention is to look at more direct communication platforms for newsletters, announcements, and various school forms. Further automating such things as "permission slips" and "acknowledgement forms" will help streamline essential functions and raise efficiency to tracking and coordination. 

Stay tuned as we continue this exciting transition process!

The internet abounds! Thanks to Mr. Julius Vichinsky, CCA has a new system that is making the internet signal stronger throughout our building. This will help our staff and students with a strengthened signal that can be received in our farthest classrooms (kindergarten and 5^th/6^th grade. We want to thank Julius for his time and considerations in getting our system installed and operational. We have many happy teachers (including Mrs. Young)!
