Mrs. Melissa Lee has been a part of CCA for over 10 years and began in the preschool and prek classrooms. She received her A.S. in Elementary Education through NIC and is finishing up her bachelor's degree in Elem. Ed. through WGU. Mrs. Lee worked alongside Mrs. Penland for the 2016-2017 school year in the second grade and has really enjoyed watching these young minds mature both academically and in the knowledge of the gospel. She has lots of experience with children within her own church, Coeurd'Alene Bible, CCA classrooms and her own family. Melissa and her husband, Walter, have been married for 23 years as of Aug. 2017 and have 4 daughters ages 16, 17, 21, and 22. Her youngest two, Samantha and Jenni, both attended CCA for much of their elementary education and are now entering the 10th and 12th grades respectively. Becca, is the next oldest and is currently serving in the Air Force up in Alaska while the oldest, Megan, lives and works in Post Falls. In her spare time, Mrs. Lee enjoys running, kayaking, hiking, biking, reading and just being outdoors. She also loves to visit the ocean any chance she can get and loves the refreshing of the spirit that God has provided through his amazing creation. Her goal as a teacher is to see each child reach their potential and grow in God's grace so that as they go out into the world, they will be able to stand firm in the gospel and not be swayed by the world because they know that the true God is King over all the Earth.
