Welcome to summer and welcome back! We had a great Father's Day BBQ on our last day of school before the break and I KNOW that Sports Camp was fun (how can the Duke's NOT BE?!) Well, we are charging forward with the last leg of our 2nd grade year and during these next two weeks we will be hitting it hard.

Please see the Note From the Principle for all the details of any upcoming important events at CCA! This is one important note to mention:

POSSIBLE SWIM DAYS: If the kids K-7th finish all of their school work for the week we MAY use the following Fridays as Swim Days down at Q’emiln Park in Post Falls (after Avista opens the park).  Kids should bring the following items each Friday just in case: swimsuit, towel, bag for wet clothes, backpack, sunscreen, AND RED SHIRT (if you bought a camp shirt and Mrs. Young has it, that will work great!  She will pass them out before we go to the beach).  If you have an old camp shirt, you can wear that. If you want a camp shirt, see Mrs. Young.

    POSSIBLE SWIM DAYS: (weather permitting)

    Friday, June 23 12-2:30pm

    Friday, July 1, 12-2:30pm

    Friday, June 30 12-2:30pm

    Friday, July 14, 12-2:30pm

    Friday, July 21, 12-2:30pm

We hope you had a great Memorial Day. What an absolute blessing to live in the country we do, with the freedoms we have! Thank God for the men and women who are called to defend these freedoms and help other nations achieve the same. Thank you for all who serve, or have family who serve in the military. We do not take your sacrifice for granted and we pray and speak of this very often in our daily prayer time in class. God Bless America!

This Friday is our Father's Day Cookout!! 9 am - 11:30 am

2nd Graders are asked to bring 1-2 packages of individual juice boxes. Thank you!!

Our only homework will be reading and some Math Fact practice! Nothing will need to be turned in.

    Please
